If I Were a Teacher for One Day

If I were a teacher for just one day,
I’d make learning fun in every way.
I’d greet each student with a smile so bright,
And fill the classroom with warmth and light.

I’d start the day with a playful game,
To make every student feel welcome and tame.
If I taught English, I’d make them write
A magical story or an invention so bright.

If it were science, I’d show and explain,
And guide them to try it, again and again.
I’d encourage questions, no matter how small,
And celebrate every thought from all.

I’d teach kindness, teamwork, and self-belief,
And help those struggling find relief.
I’d praise their efforts and cheer them on,
So learning feels like joy, not a con.

At the day’s end, I’d hope to see
Smiles of pride and curiosity.
Even for one day, I’d give my heart,
And make a difference, a meaningful part.
