When Trust Walked Through Our Gates
When I look back at my journey, it feels almost unreal. With no initial support to lean on, life could have easily pulled me down. But teaching gave me purpose, strength, and identity. For the past 10 years at Purna Chetana Public School, this profession has not only been my career but also my family and my pride.

Last year, I was given the opportunity to interact with walk-in parents who came seeking admission for their children. I was both nervous and excited, but as I spoke from my heart about our school’s vision, something unexpected happened — the parents connected. They trusted what I said and felt assured about the future of their children here. That day, when they chose our school based on my words, I realized how much confidence this journey had given me. Even though I had walked much of my life alone, I was now standing tall, representing something far greater than myself.
Recently, I had another deeply touching experience. A group of parents visited Purna Chetana, not searching for flashy advertisements or promises, but for a place that would nurture the holistic development of their children.

As I introduced them to our philosophy, pride welled up in me. I shared how at Purna Chetana we don’t just teach lessons, but create life experiences — through our Fear Factor adventure park, the hands-on learning at our Krishi Corner, our strong sports initiatives, our record-setting events, and platforms like Vimarshana, where children learn to express themselves confidently. Every corner of our school echoes one message: we prepare children for life, not just exams.
The parents could sense it too. Many said they had visited several schools across Mysuru, but here, they felt something different — a positive, divine energy the moment they entered.
One father shared a memory that moved us all. He had once seen our school bus near Mysore Palace, where children were joyfully chanting the Hanuman Chalisa. He was so touched by that sight that he decided to visit the school the very next day. “In that single moment, I saw spirituality, culture, and discipline together,” he said, his voice full of emotion.
Throughout the conversation, parents expressed their deepest wish: they wanted a school that built not only academics but also life skills, confidence, values, and emotional strength. And as they heard how consciously we nurture these qualities, they felt reassured and at peace.
What touched them most was how they were welcomed. One mother told me, “In every other school, the first thing we heard was about fees. But here, it was all about the child.” That sentence alone made me realize why our philosophy resonates so strongly with families.
When they asked about our cultural practices, their eyes lit up hearing how we weave Indian values, spirituality, and traditions into everyday learning. From nature walks to festival celebrations, every child here grows up rooted in culture and connected to nature.
There were bittersweet moments too. Some parents grew emotional when they learned that certain classes were already full. “We wish we had come sooner,” they said with regret. A few even reached out through MLAs and MPs, hoping to still secure a seat for their child.

Before leaving, each parent was gifted a copy of the Bhagavad Gita. The reverence with which they received it — many bowing and holding it close — is something I will never forget.
For me, this was more than just a meeting. It reminded me why I chose teaching and why I have stayed on this path. Education is not just about information, it is about transformation. Parents placed their trust in us not because of words on a brochure, but because they felt the values in every corner of our school.
I may have started my journey without family support, but today, I stand surrounded by hundreds of children, parents, and colleagues who are my true family. Teaching has given me dignity, confidence, and hope — and through it, I now have the chance to shape not just students, but strong, kind, and responsible human beings.
This experience has renewed my commitment once again. I will continue to teach not just with my mind, but with love, responsibility, and pride — because here at Purna Chetana, we are not only building futures… we are building a better world.
