A Ticket to Yesterday and Tomorrow
Sometimes when I sit in history class, I wonder — did everything really happen the way the books say? And when I hear about the future, I can’t help but ask — what will our world look like years from now? That’s why, if I had the power to time travel, I wouldn’t waste a single second. I’d take a ticket to both yesterday and tomorrow.
First, I would go to the past to explore how kings, queens, and palaces really were. I’d want to see how they ruled their kingdoms and how people lived without phones and electricity. I would love to witness discoveries like electricity with my own eyes.

I’ve also heard that before the British came to India, people were divided into four varnas based on professions. After the British arrived, the divisions became based on religions: Hindus, Muslims, and Christians. Why did they make this change? And why did Indians accept it? These are questions I keep asking, and maybe only the past can give me the answers.

Next, I would travel into the future. People say the future might be dangerous, with disasters waiting to happen. But is it true? I want to see for myself. Will technology grow so fast that it changes everything? Will India become a developed country? Will the mysteries of our land finally be solved — or will they still remain? If not, why not? These are the secrets I want to uncover.

So if I ever get a chance to time travel, I would use it not just for fun, but to learn. The past holds truth, and the future holds mysteries. Together, they could help me understand the world — and myself — much better.

Until then, I will keep asking questions, because maybe curiosity itself is the best time machine we already have.
