Abhyaasa – A Little Better Every Day
My school is not just a place where we learn lessons from textbooks. It is a place where we learn discipline, cleanliness, creativity, love for our nation and, most importantly, how to become better human beings.

One practice that has made me think differently is Abhyaasa.
At the end of the day, Abhyaasa gives us a moment to look back at ourselves. Instead of simply finishing one day and moving to the next, we pause and ask:
“What mistake did I make today?”
“What is one thing I am thankful for?”

These may look like simple questions, but answering them makes us think. When I identify a mistake, I know what I can improve the next day. When I write something I am thankful for, I begin to notice and appreciate the people and little things that make my day better.
One idea in our Abhyaasa that inspires me the most is:
(1.00)³⁶⁵ = 1.00
(1.01)³⁶⁵ = 37.7

It teaches us a powerful lesson — even a small improvement made every day can create a big change over time. We do not have to transform ourselves in a single day; we just need to become a little better than we were yesterday.
For me, Abhyaasa is not simply about writing answers. It is about developing the habit of reflecting, correcting and improving.
If every student learns to reflect on their actions, remain grateful and improve a little every day, we can grow into positive and responsible citizens who contribute towards making Bharat a Vishwa Guru.

A small improvement today can become a remarkable transformation tomorrow.
