The Invest “Teacher” Ceremony
I feel very proud that I am studying in Purna Chetana Public School. The discipline, character, positivity, and creativity that our school teaches to its students are truly unexplainable.
You may wonder why I used the words “unexplainable” and “proud.”
It is because of our school’s Investiture Ceremony, where we got a responsible, disciplined, and proud senior as our March Past teacher during practice. His name was Bhargav, and we respectfully called him Bhargav Anna (“Anna” means elder brother in Kannada).
At first, when he entered our campus, all the students thought that he must be a P.E. teacher. But when our Vice Principal announced that he was our senior who had studied at Purna Chetana Public School for many years, completed his degree at Maharaja’s University, Mysore, and was preparing for KPSE, we were amazed.
Another important thing was that he had represented our district and state in the March Past Parade held in Delhi and even had the opportunity to speak with our Honorable Prime Minister for 1.4 minutes. Listening to this filled our hearts with motivation and, of course, surprise.
His voice was very loud and powerful, which made us silent for a moment. When he first gave the command, the whole campus became so quiet that we could even hear the sound of a needle falling. For a moment, it felt like magic.
When he started marching with discipline, clarity, and confidence, everyone looked at him with wide-open eyes in admiration.
He filled every student with the spirit of discipline, which helped us perform the March Past with courage, discipline, pride, and confidence. We were able to make the Investiture Ceremony a grand success because of this one personality whom our school had shaped.
At last, our school is not just a place where we learn to read and write. It is a place where we proudly see our seniors guiding and inspiring the next generation.
