Exams: Stress or Challenge?
It was the week before my exams, and my heart was racing. My books were open, notes scattered across the table, but my mind felt empty. “What if I forget everything? What if I fail?” — these thoughts kept repeating in my head. I knew I wasn’t alone; all my friends were feeling the same pressure, and the stress was heavy in the air.

But then I remembered something my teacher said: “Exams are like a match. If you’ve practised well, you can face them confidently.” That gave me a little hope. I decided to change my approach. Instead of cramming everything at the last minute, I revised a little every day, practiced problems, and focused on understanding rather than just memorizing.

By the time the exams started, I still felt nervous — of course, everyone does. But the fear was replaced by a sense of challenge. Each question became a chance to show what I had learned, not something to panic over.

I realized that exams are stressful only if we let them be. With preparation, focus, and the right mindset, they become challenges to overcome — exciting, rewarding, and even motivating.
