The Weight of Unspoken Words
In a world where people freely express their emotions,
Here I am, wondering if my life is an equation.
While spending my days pleasing people around me,
Did I forget to listen to the echoes within me?

All those thoughts that visit me every night
Make my heart yearn for a single spark of light.
Even if I choose to express how I truly feel,
Will this weary heart ever begin to heal?
Is this silence born from the fear of not being understood?
Perhaps I feared my silent cries would be misunderstood.
That is when I buried my thoughts beneath a smile
And held them close through every winding mile.

The verses left unread became engraved within me,
Like untamed waves dancing across a restless sea.
They wandered through my mind with nowhere else to be,
Yet never found the courage to break themselves free.

Maybe not every word is meant to remain confined,
But some must find their way out of a chaotic mind.
And if my voice trembles when it finally takes flight,
At least my words will no longer hide within the night.
