First Day of Class 4

My name is Shuchita, Class 4B,

Takshashila is the place for me.

I’m excited to share my very first day,

And all the fun along the way.

Teachers greeted us with smiles so wide,

Tilak on our foreheads, rakhi tied with pride.

Into the classroom, I went to meet,

Friends who made my day so sweet.

Next came the assembly, full of cheer,

Older students performed, we clapped and jeered.

A skit, a dance, all bright and new,

It made our first day feel special too.

Our class teacher gave a card so warm,

With a pencil, a seed, and a message to charm.

Subject teachers introduced themselves with care,

Explaining how our learning journey would fare.

The first day of school, I will always treasure,

A start so happy, full of joy and pleasure!
