Why I Still Miss Mangalore?
Every year, I visit Mangalore for a short trip. Usually, we stay for just two or three days. But this time was different. We stayed for a whole week… and that made it very special. From the first day itself, I felt happy. We started our trip by visiting temples. The places were peaceful, and I liked spending time there with my family.

After that, we went to the beach. That was my favourite part. We played in the sand, ran near the waves, and laughed a lot. While walking on the shore, I even found a pink starfish. I was so excited because I had never seen one like that before.

The next day, we went to a place I always wait for — Pabbas Ice Cream. I chose chocolate flavour, and my parents also had ice cream. Sitting there and enjoying it together made me feel very happy. I really love ice cream, and somehow it tastes even better in Mangalore.

Later, we also visited Udupi and went to a temple there. That day too, I had my favourite — a scoop of dark chocolate ice cream. I also enjoyed having cola there. Everything felt simple but special. As the days passed, I didn’t feel like coming back.

When we returned home, I kept thinking about the beach, the temples, the ice cream, and all the small moments we spent together. That is when I realised something — it is not just the place, but the memories we create there that make it so special. Even now, I miss Mangalore a lot. And I am already waiting for my next trip after exams.
