The Sachin Saga
There was a time when millions of people stopped whatever they were doing just to watch one man walk onto a cricket field. For his fans, he was more than a cricketer. He was an emotion, an inspiration and, to many, the “God of Cricket.” He was Sachin Tendulkar.
Born on 24 April 1973, Sachin discovered his passion for cricket at a young age. With the constant support of his family and his determination to succeed, he worked hard to turn that passion into his life’s journey.

On 15 November 1989, at just sixteen years of age, Sachin made his international debut. His beginning was not extraordinary. He scored only 15 runs in his first Test innings, and his ODI debut ended without a run. But those early setbacks did not decide his future.
Instead of losing confidence, Sachin continued to practise, improve and face every challenge with determination. Match after match and year after year, his dedication transformed him from a young cricketer with a dream into one of the greatest players the game has ever seen.

He went on to achieve something no other cricketer had done before — 100 international centuries. Behind every record were years of discipline, hard work, failures, comebacks and an endless love for the game.
When Sachin retired from international cricket in November 2013, he left behind much more than records. He left behind a lesson for every youngster who dreams big: a difficult beginning does not decide how your story will end.

That is what makes his journey more than a cricket story.
It is the Sachin Saga — a story of passion, perseverance and greatness.
