The Maniac Within
There was a boy in school named Nolan.
He was the quiet one — always sitting at the last bench, eyes lost somewhere between the walls and the window. He had friends, but not the kind who stayed long. He laughed at jokes, but no one really saw the silence that followed after.

Every day, Nolan carried invisible wounds — of expectations, failures, and words that hurt more than anyone knew. Slowly, something inside him started to twist. He grew angry, restless, and cold. The madness wasn’t about harming others — it was about the storm building within him.

He began to fight invisible enemies: fear, loneliness, jealousy, and regret. Each one left scars on his mind. The darker he grew, the more he lost sight of who he truly was. Until one night, as he stared into the mirror, he didn’t recognize the boy looking back.
That was when Nolan realized — the real enemy wasn’t outside. It was within him. The maniac wasn’t someone else. It was the voice that whispered, “You’re not enough.”

And that night, instead of fighting the world, Nolan fought himself — his anger, his insecurities, his madness. Slowly, the storm began to calm.
He didn’t become perfect.
He became aware.
Because sometimes, the bravest thing we can do…
is to defeat the maniac within.
