Dream Dare Do
Why do some people achieve their goals while others give up halfway?
I believe it all begins with a dream. Dreaming or visualising what we want to achieve can be the first step towards a goal. But is dreaming alone enough? Definitely not. A dream needs action, effort and consistency to become a reality.
Another thing that can influence our journey is the people around us. The right people encourage us when we doubt ourselves, motivate us when things become difficult and support us when we fail. So, surround yourself with people who help you rise when you fall, not only those who congratulate you after you succeed.

I understood this through my own experience.
Fear once stopped me from being confident and accepting opportunities. So, I decided to push myself beyond it. I began participating in competitions, debates, class activities, stage programmes and bold interactions. Every experience helped me become a little more confident. I realised that confidence does not always come before taking the first step — sometimes, confidence grows because we take that step.

We can see the same spirit in young achievers around us. As a school student, Vinisha Umashankar noticed the pollution caused by traditional charcoal ironing and developed the idea of a solar-powered ironing cart. She saw a problem, thought of a solution and acted on her idea. Her story reminds us that age does not decide how big our ideas can be.

Achieving a goal does not mean that the journey will always be easy. There will be fear, failures, criticism and obstacles. What matters is whether we allow them to stop us or use them to become stronger.
And perhaps that is the real secret to achieving our goals:
Dream about it. Believe in yourself. Surround yourself with the right people. Most importantly — take action.
Do not work only to impress others. Work towards becoming a better version of yourself.

Your dream shows you the destination, but your actions decide how far you will go.
