A Simple Choice, A Big Lesson
One day, I was thinking about how some people are very kind, and some people don’t like to share at all. That reminded me of a story about two girls named Diya and Riya. Diya was a good girl. She was kind and always helped others. Riya was a rich girl, but she was selfish and did not like to share anything. One day, Riya got a new dress from her mother. She was very happy and excited to wear it. She showed it to everyone.

Diya also saw the dress. She liked it very much, but she felt a little sad because she did not have such clothes.
After some time, Riya came near Diya. Instead of talking nicely, she pushed her. Diya fell down, and her clothes became dirty. Diya started crying, but she did not complain to anyone. She just sat quietly and thought, “How can I get such clothes?”

At that time, God appeared and asked her, “Why are you crying?” Diya said that she also wanted beautiful clothes like Riya. Then God showed her many beautiful dresses and asked her to choose one. But Diya chose a simple dress.

God felt happy and blessed her because she was kind and honest. From this, I understood that being good is more important than being rich.
